POSTdoctoral Position (Closed)

The Bio-Nanophotonics System Lab. is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team.

[Research Areas]
We are open to candidates with expertise in either of the following tracks:
(1) Optical simulation & computational photonics
  - Optical simulation for nanophotonics and biomedical optics
  - Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics and/or Lumerical (FDTD)
  - Strong interest in simulation-driven research and publications

(2) Photonic Materials & experimental platforms
  - Polymer-based functional materials and coatings
  - Electrospinning-based micro/nanofiber systems for optical and biomedical applications
  - Development of optically functional biomaterials for:
    > Radiative cooling / thermal photonics and biomedical thermal management
    > Biomedical optics, sensing, imaging, and light-matter interaction
  - We especially welcome candidates who enjoy designing experiments and translating materials into publishable research outcomes

Our lab provides access to key fabrication tools including a spin coater and electrospinning system, and we encourage creative research directions aligned with photonics and biomedical engineering.

  - Start date and contract duration can be discussed based on mutual agreement
